Masca and Los Gigantes

Masca is one of the most picturesque place of Tenerife. It has only 118 inhabitants. It is important to mention that the road to Masca is narrow with many curves, and for people with little experience driving may be it's a little scary. But don't worry it's nota dangerous road because you can not run with the car, and because its well protected with seawalls.
The village of Masca in Tenerife is reputed to have been hiding for the Pirates and there is a small bay with a paradise beach, which is only accessible on foot or by boat.

To go up, you have to be a bit prepared physically, and you have to walk a good while, but it's worth, to enjoy such rugged terrain and down the road from the wonderful beach, and possibly you and only a few people will be there that day. Then don't forget it, you have to walk up again!

The difficulty is high. Begins at the village of Masca (710m). The difficulty lies in the sharp ups and downs and in the uneven terrain of loose rock and slippery, as many times you have to cross the creek. The charm of the trail puts the unique context of this boxed canyon cliffs, and all you can say or photograph is not enough, you must see it by yourself!
