I'm from Alicante and I arrive to the island 3 months ago to work as trainees in Mare Nostrum Resort. I've been woorking at the Quality Department, at Info Center and at Community Manager Department with Lieve, our last Community Manager. She is currently still working with us in the Reservations Department, but soon she will be absent for four months for her maternity. Soon she will be a mom!
During this time, I tried to learn a lot from all the colleagues with who I had the opportunity to work. No more practices. A new stage start for me full of illusion and with the desire to continue learning new things with all you.

Soy Nuria, la nueva Community Manager de Mare Nostrum Resort y estaré en directo con todos vosotros durante la retransmisión de la fiesta para que no se os escape ningún detalle!!
Soy de Alicante y hace 3 meses que llegue a la isla para trabajar como becaria en prácticas en Mare Nostrum Resort. He pasado por los Departamentos de Calidad, Info Center y Community Manager con Lieve, nuestra anterior Community Manager. Ella, actualmente, sigue trabajando con nosotros, en el Departamento de Reservas, aunque dentro de poco estará ausente durante 4 meses por baja de maternidad y es que ¡¡está a punto de ser mamá!!
Durante este tiempo, he intentado aprender mucho de ella y de todos los compañeros con los que he tenido la oportunidad de trabajar. Se acabaron las prácticas y empieza una nueva etapa para mí llena de ilusión y de ganas por seguir aprendiendo cosas nuevas junto a todos vosotros.

Seven islands full of life. A unique territory which is home to thousands of living species, many of them exclusive to this small corner of the Atlantic. In the Canary Islands you will find plant species that disappeared in other parts of the planet millions of years ago. Others are already hundreds of years old, mute witnesses to the passing of time: think of the stories they could tell if they could speak!

Desde aquí, queremos lanzar un mensaje para concienciar al planeta de que tenemos que vivir en armonía con el medio ambiente y velar por la continuidad de las especies, para que todos los que vengan por detrás puedan conocer y disfrutar de estos preciosas imágenes.

ARONA: PREMIO REINA SOFÍA DE ACCESIBILIDAD UNIVERSAL // ARONA: UNIVERSAL ACCESSIBILITY QUEEN SOFIA AWARD

El Alcalde del Ilustre Ayuntamiento de Arona, recibió, el pasado 18 de Marzo de manos de Su Majestad, la Reina Sofía, el Premio Reina Sofía de Accesibilidad Universal para el Municipio de Arona.
The Honorable Mayor of the Municipality of Arona, received, last March 18th from Her Majesty, Queen Sofia, the Universal Accessibility Queen Sofia Award to Arona.


La finalidad de estos premios es recompensar a los municipios que han desarrollado una labor continuada, llevada a cabo en un periodo de tiempo no inferior a cinco años, en el campo de la accesibilidad universal de las personas con discapacidad en relación al medio físico, la educación, el ocio, la cultura, el deporte, el transporte, el turismo y las nuevas tecnologías de la información y la comunicación.
The purpose of these awards is to reward those municipalities that have developed a continuous work, carried out over a period of not less than five years in the field of universal accessibility for disabled people in relation to the physical environment, education, leisure, culture, sport, transport, tourism and new technologies of information and communication.

Este galardón fue concedido por el Real Patronato sobre Discapacidad, un organismo autónomo adscrito al Ministerio de Sanidad y Política Social, y se constituye como la distinción más prestigiosa en España en materia de accesibilidad. Para el municipio de Arona, supone un reconocimiento al esfuerzo que ha realizado el Ayuntamiento por poner en marcha el “Plan Integral de Accesibilidad en las zonas Turísticas” que se propuso en el año 2003 con la finalidad de construir un Arona para todos como un compromiso para mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas con discapacidad y de la población en general.
This prize was awarded by the Royal Board on Disability, an independent organization under the Ministry of Health and Social Policy, and constitutes the most prestigious award in Spain in terms of accessibility. To the municipality of Arona, is a recognition of the efforts made by the City Council for years by implementing the "Comprehensive Plan for Accessibility in tourist areas" which was proposed in 2003 with the aim to become Arona as a commitment to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities and the general population.

El acto de presentación del Premio Reina Sofía de Accesibilidad Universal será el próximo 26 de mayo y se llevará a cabo a las 20.00 horas, en la Sala Tenerife del Complejo Mare Nostrum Resort.
